Amazon's (NASDAQ: AMZN) billionaire CEO Jeff Bezos also owns a commercial space travel company called Blue Origin, which just launched a rocket called New Shepherd space vehicle on Wednesday. According to CNN, after the flight Bezos released a statement that said one of the problems with the test flight was the propulsion module, which is designed to be reusable, was not recovered because of the hydraulic system. Other than that it was a success. "Any astronauts on board would have had a very nice journey into space and a smooth return," Bezos said. Bezos isn't the first billionaire to start thinking about commercial space travel. CEO of Virgin (NASDAQ :VA), Richard Branson has tried to launch a vehicle, but it crashed and Tesla's (NASDAQ: TSLA) CEO Elon Musk's SpaceX is trying to get into the space race, as well.
