In the recent months Wal-Mart (NYSE: WMT) has changed a lot of its public image. Once it was considered a horrible place to work, paying its employees extreme low wages and destroying communities. However, Wal-Mart raised it minimum wage for all of its employees and has started to listen to what they say. These are great leaps, but there is a problem. With the U.S. dollar being strong, Wal-Mart gets weaker. According to CNN, because of the hike in wages and the companies drop in stocks Wal-Mart is struggling. Due to all of the changes Wal-Mart has done to change to help its employees and its public image, however, it is now feeling pressure to keep up this image. Since its profits are down it might not be able to. For more news on Wal-Mart, click here.
